Captain of the Lord's Host is a sculpture by Thomas Battersby Child located in Gilgal Sculpture Garden in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The sculpture depicts the angel who appeared to Joshua before the Battle of Jericho, as recorded in Joshua 5. The sculpture is a 38-ton stone with the outline of a figure cut into its surface with an oxyacetylene torch. A large uncarved rock appears where the head of the figure would be.
